Luke 24:6 “He isn’t here! He is risen from the dead! Remember what He told you back in Galilee,”

Devotional:

This verse is the heartbeat of hope in the Christian life. When we’re faced with sorrow, doubt, or fear, we’re reminded that the tomb is empty. Jesus is alive—and because He lives, so can we.

The resurrection isn’t just a moment in history. It’s a living promise that Jesus is victorious over everything that seems final or impossible in our lives. Just as the women were reminded to recall His words, we too must return to His promises, especially when we are afraid, grieving, or confused.

Personal Reflection:

  • What does the resurrection mean for your everyday life?
  • Are there areas in your life where you’ve forgotten Jesus’ promises?
  • How can the truth that “He is not here, but has risen” strengthen your faith during hard times?
  • What promise from Jesus do you need to remember today?

Prayer:

Risen Lord,

Thank You for conquering death and rising in victory. Thank You that the tomb is empty and that You are alive. Help me to live every day in the power of the resurrection. Remind me of Your promises when I forget. Fill me with hope and courage, knowing that You are faithful and You are near.

In Jesus mighty name

Amen.
